Is WWE Superstar Shinsuke Nakamura making a tv return?
The last time we saw Shinsuke on wwe television was back on April 22nd, 2024 when he squared off against Sheamus and lost the bout. Shinsuke hasn’t been used on WWE television since the loss, but has actively been performing on WWE Live Events, with his most recent live event worked on October 16th, 2024 according to cagematch.
Per reports from PWInsider, Shinsuke is expected to be at WWE Smackdown this week when it returns to the Barclays Center in, Brooklyn, NY. This coming Fridays’ Smackdown taping will feature a double taping (two weeks worth of show in one night), due to the WWE traveling to Saudi for Crown Jewel.
The report mentions that Shinsuke could either appear on this week’s episode of Smackdown, or the following week since he will be in attendance for the tapings. Keep in mind though, Shinsuke has been recently used for dark matches at live tapings as of late, so he very well could just be at the Barclays center to continue working dark matches.
