Former WWE United States Champion, and Hurt Business member MVP recently spoke on a Facebook live signing event with K&S Virtual Signing. During the signing MVP answered a host of questions. It had made rounds that MVP stated that Triple H was racist. During the signing MVP elaborated on those comments and stated the following:
It made the rounds that MVP said that Triple H was racist — I never said that word, I never said that. You show me the quote where, the caption, or the soundbite where I said that?
MVP went on to point out that it was in fact a fan who pointed out a difference in how Triple H books black talent poorly to which he agreed with the fan. He said “I never once said he was racist.”
MVP challenged anyone to provide evidence that he stated Triple H was racist and mentioned that he would go into further detail once he begins his own podcast. While he continued to deny claims that he stated Triple H is racist, he did state that he has his own thoughts and opinions on how Triple H books talent of color, and stated he would again further elaborate on that once he begins his own podcast.
“As far as Triple H? I don’t know that he is [racist] and I don’t know what his motivations are, but I never said that he was racist,” MVP once again reiterated.
Once MVP releases his podcast and details this in length as stated he would, we will provide transcripts of that as well. In the meantime, keep up with all our WWE News.
