Bear Boulder fired by AEW Following Domestic Battery.
Bear Boulder, who’s real name is Thomas Wansaw has been terminated by All Elite Wrestling following a domestic battery arrest that took place on January 13th.
In a report from Fightful, Bear was terminated following his arrest for Battery by strangulation which is a class three felony in the state of Florida. The arrest took place on January 13th, 2025 in Orange County Florida. The victim has been identified as Boulder’s fiance’.
Below is a snippet from the arrest affidavit:
I interviewed the caller/victim, [victim] who informed me she was physically battered by her fiancé, Thomas Wansaw,” the affidavit reads. “I observed what appeared [to be] several injuries on [victim] and photographs were taken and uploaded to Axon Evidence to be attached to the report. According to [victim], she sustained injuries around her neck which included red marks as well scratches just below her neck just above her breast. The back of [victim’s] neck was also red and appeared it was battered as well. [victim] also sustained a bruise that appeared to be bright red on her right hand. According to [victim], she was in a verbal argument with Thomas Wansaw that escalated into a physical altercation when he pushed her to the ground. Thomas Wansaw then placed his foot onto her throat causing [victim] to lose consciousness and black out. [victim] stated she gained consciousness approximately five to ten minutes later and was able to retreat outside to a patio/balcony area and call 911.
According to court records a no contact order was issued on January 14th, 2025 but modified to no hostile/violent contact order on January 27th, 2025.
Boulder last wrestled for All Elite Wrestling on January 11th, 2025.
