As we previously reported, JD McDonagh was injured during a nasty bump he took on Raw during his tag team championship match alongside Dominik Mysterio taking on the defending World Tag Team Champions The War Raiders.
During the match JD McDonagh went for a springboard moonsault and took a nasty bump on the commentary table.
While McDonagh did continue the match he was later sent to the hospital after fans reported he collapsed backstage.
Recently JD has provided an injury update via social media.

I've got a couple of broken ribs and a punctured lung, so I'm going to be out for a couple months. All things considered, it could have been a lot worse, so I'm grateful for that.

McDonagh went on to state that he has suffered a punctured lung, and several broken ribs. He eluted to the fact that he will be out for a few months but also stated it could’ve been a lot worse and he is greatful for that.
