Ahead of his title defense against Bryan Danielson, Swerve Strickland Signs a new AEW Deal. While the results of All Out are results Swerve would like to forget the night wasn’t a loss on all fronts by any means for Swerve. The now former AEW World Champion signed a new deal with All Elite Wrestling prior to All Out taking place.
During the Zero Hour, pre-show to AEW All Out, a video package was shown of Strickland signing a new contract with the company. Strickland’s manager Prince Nana, and AEW CEO, Tony Khan were present in the video as Swerve put pen to paper on the new deal.
Strickland has became a top star in the company; being able to ink him to what we believe to be a legitimate long term deal, is a positive sign for the company.
The night may have started off on a good note for Swerve, but now the path to regaining the All Elite Wrestling World Championship begins.
