WWE Raw tonight will come to you from the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Tonight’s edition of Raw is the go-home episode of the flagship brand leading into WWE’s next Premium Live Event, Backlash. As of now there has been only a few matches advertised for both Backlash and tonight’s episode of Raw.

Becky Lynch Promo

The Man made her return to WWE at Wrestlemania teaming with her now opponent at Backlash current WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, Lyra Valkyria the two became WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions at Wrestlemania and lost the titles the following Monday on Raw after Mania which saw Becky Lynch become a heel again.

Last week Lynch let the wwe universe know that she was the one behind the attack on Bayley taking her out of the Wrestlemania match as this was all part of Lynch’s plan. What does The Man have to say tonight leading into her championship match with Valkyria this coming Saturday Night?

Will the current champion have something in store for The Man?

Rusev Makes WWE IN-RING Return

Rusev reinvented himself once he was let go from WWE in April of 2020 following Wrestlemania and he made a run in All Elite Wrestling. Tonight on WWE Raw, Rusev will bring his new incarnation of himself to a WWE ring when he steps into the squared circle to take on fan favorite Otis. This will be Rusev’s first major promotion televised match since AEW World’s End in 2o23.

Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker and The Wiseman

WWE has confirmed that the newly formed alliance of Rollins, Breakker and The Wiseman will appear on the final Raw before Backlash. After Sami Zayn turning down the offer to move to Smackdown last week will we see some action between Zayn and the trio?

Penta vs JD McDonagh

JD McDonagh makes his in-ring return after suffering his tragic injury a few months ago tonight on WWE Raw as he takes on one of WWE’s newest talents Penta.

Willing to bet Carlito cost’s McDonagh the match somehow tonight.

Roxanne Perez vs Iyo Sky

Iyo Sky successfully defended her Women’s World Championship at Wrestlemania 41 against Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair since then Iyo has taken on many up and coming talents in the women’s division. A few weeks ago she took on current NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer which lead to outside interference from her opponent tonight, Roxanne Perez and Giulia.

It’s a safe bet to assume this match-up will likely encounter some type of interfearence, likely first by a heel such as Giulia and then a save be made by a face such as Stephanie Vaquer, it all depends on whether WWE wants to continue pushing top NXT talent on the main roster shows to get more eyes on them for their potential call-ups.

It’s unlikely we will see Iyo placed in a predicament to defend her championship this weekend at Backlash as Triple H’s WWE era have seen roughly 5-6 matches on PLE’s. Four matches have been announced for Backlash already so one or two more can be added, it just wouldn’t make much sense to add a World Championship match out of nowhere.

Who Else is Advertised?

While not specifically announced to be apart of the show the following additional talent(s) are slated to be in the area:

  • Dominik Mysterio
  • Gunther
  • The New Day
  • Rhea Ripley
