Apparently as of this writing The Rock is not expected to make an appearance at the 41st edition of WWE Wrestlemania. The Rock Not Scheduled For WrestleMania 41 has been a topic of much discussion.
As with everything in professional wrestling; things are subject to changing. As it stands according to Wrestling Observer and Dave Meltzer, the status of The Rock appearing at Wrestlemania 41 is ‘unlikely at this time’.
Given The Rock showing up at WWE’s recent Premium Live Event, Bad Blood, speculation began running rampid as many have speculated The Rock would have a big role in the showcase of the immortals. Some even pitted The Rock in main event caliber matches with the likes of WWE Undisputed Champion, Cody Rhodes while others’ continued to mention a match that was supposed to take place at WrestleMania 40, The Rock vs Roman Reigns. Despite these speculations, The Rock Not Scheduled For WrestleMania 41 still holds.
It’s being reported that The Rock’s current schedule, and the amount of preparation he requires himself to undergo prior to getting into the ring are factors in the decision not to wrestle at Wrestlemania next year. It was reported that The Rock underwent a full ‘training-camp’ to get into shape for his involvement in Wrestlemania 40, something that his current schedule wouldn’t allow time to do next year.
