On Monday September 2nd, 2024, WWE hosted it’s latest edition of WWE Monday Night Raw which aired on the USA Network. See below for full results of this past Monday’s episode.
Rhea Challenges Liv Morgan
Rhea Ripley kicked off the show stating that she wanted another shot at the WWE Women’s Championship. She mentioned how she just recently pinned the champion at WWE Bash in Berlin. Dominik Mysterio comes out and informs us that Liv isn’t here tonight and accepts Rhea’s challenge on behalf of Morgan. Liv Morgan attempts to sneak attack Rhea but Ripley saw it coming and then turns her attention to Dominik where Rhea ends up getting her foot caught in the ropes which leads to an attack from the Judgment Day members. Damien Priest runs out for the save as Mysterio and Morgan cower off into the crowd at the Ball Arena. Ripley is pretty banged up from getting her foot caught in the ropes.
We then get a recap of Uncle Howdy’s in-ring debut against Chad Gable from last week.

Post match Chad Gable challenges The Wyatt Sicks to an 8-man tag team match. Uncle Howdy comes out and accepts the challenge.
Shayna Bayzler def. Zelina Vega
Pure Fusion Collective attack Zelina Vega after the match; Lyra Valkyria comes out and attempts to assist Vega but gets taken out by the trio as well. Sonya Deville invites the rest of the roster to come take a shot.
Backstage we see Damien Priest who is tending to Rhea Ripley who is now sporting a knee brace and a crutch. Damien tells Rhea that he needs to find a tag team partner as Finn Balor would only face him in a tag-team match. Rhea has someone in mind.
The Second City Saint is next on Raw.
As we come back from commercial, Vega and Valkyria are discussing their frustrations with Pure Fusion Collective. Lyra and Vega discuss needing a partner; Valkyria has a idea since they are in Calgary next week.
CM Punk comes to the ring. He informs us that he is glad to be on the other side of the strap match and done with McIntyre. He then proceeds to call out current World Heavyweight Champion, Gunter. The promo ends, and CM Punk’s music blares as he tells Gunter he is going to get used to singing his theme song. Drew McIntrye was hidden under the ring sporting a hoodie and attacks CM Punk. McIntyre claymore’s CM Punk out of his shoes (literally), tosses Punk back inside the ring where he eventually takes the friendship bracelet off Punk and proceeds to break it, shoving pieces of it into the mouth of Punk. After a commercial McIntyre continues to attack Punk who is now on a stretcher. Punk is now bleeding from the mouth.
Ilja Dragunov def. Dragon Lee and Dominik Mysterio
During the contest more Terror Twins vs Judgment Day drama ensued as Carlito came out to attack Dragon Lee, Damien Priest came out to run Carlito off.
We go backstage with Adam Pierce and Cathy Kelly, discussing Bronson Reed being out of tonight’s Triple Threat match; and finding a suitable replacement. Braun Strowman enters the scene and states medical has cleared him to compete if he feels he can compete and Pierce adds Strowman to the match.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles Number One Contenders Match: Unholy Union (Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn) def. Damage CTRL (IYO SKY & Kairi Sane)
Kairi Sane suffers a nasty eye injury during this match-up. The Unholy Union once again earn their shot at becoming WWE Womens Tag Team Champions next week on Monday Night Raw.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion: Gunther
The champ is here. Gunther making his way towards gorilla stops in his tracks as he noticed Kofi Kingston talking with Adam Pearce.
Quickshot to Damien Priest asking Rhea for an update. Did he answer, yes?, no Rhea says. He answered “Yeet”. Priest wants to speak to the Yeetmaster first.
Gunther is the ring puts over his success at Bash in Berlin. He defeated “the best” in Randy Orton. Sami Zayn’s music hits and out comes the former Intercontinental Champion. Sami speaks about his title run, and those who came prior and parlayed their success into successful World Championship runs. Sami states he wants to do that as well, Gunther has no interest in facing Zayn and shoots him down, and begins exiting the ringside area; Sami cuts him off and states that he’s never seen Gunther back down from a challenge and promises he will become the next World Heavyweight Champion.
WWE Intercontinental Championship Number One Contenders Tournament: Braun Strowman def. Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser
Pete Dunne interferes in this match and attacks Sheamus with a shillelagh. Braun Strowman picks up the victory after hitting Ludwig Kaiser with a running Power Slam.
Jackie Redmon meets up with Pete Dunne backstage and refers to him as Butch to which she is instructed not to call him that.
Damian Priest & Jey Uso def. Judgment Day (Finn Balor & JD McDonagh)
Priest and Uso a duo put together by Rhea Ripley try to put their differences aside and take on the World Tag Team Champions, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. It was all Priest and Uso heading into the break, but coming out of the break The Judgment Day are in control.
Liv Morgan inserts herself into the match; shortly after Rhea Ripley’s music hits and she comes out onto the ramp on crutches. Liv noticing begins making her way towards what she believes to be a helpless Rhea. Rhea laughs as Liv gets closer and attacks her with the crutch. Ripley still isn’t 100% but was able to chase off Morgan. We head back into the ring and it’s full swing control of Priest and Uso; Uso gets the tag as Priest watches on and Jey nails a big Uso Splash for the victory.
Rhea Ripley, Damien Priest and Jey Uso all ‘YEET’ in the ring together as things concluded.
